Therefore, you’ll find rich history, and even celebrated guests such as Bonnie Prince Charlie’s children, and Clark Gable have been here. The location of this country hotel is excellent, as it’s only 3 miles away from Prestwick airport. Adamton Country House Hotel is a perfect place to stay for travellers, as it also offers stay & flight packages. It's easy to park your car in the on-site car park, so you'll never have to stress about caching your next flight in time.
Even though the country house looks charming and not that big on the outside, it does have 259 en-suite bedrooms. And in case you thought it was budget, it's an affordable hotel, but it also has luxurious suites located in the main house. As you can see in the picture, there are stunning views over the surrounding grounds. And most of the rooms will have excellent views over these grounds. You can also walk around here and enjoy lovely walks. Besides, you can make use of one of the three floodlit tennis courts.
And no matter in what room you stay, you can make use of the oak-lined Arran Lounge which is perfect to relax with your favourite drink. Do you still have some work to do, or do you have to connect with people online? There's free WiFi in the public areas of this hotel. Pets are welcome too, but only in the annexe rooms and not in the main house bedrooms.
P.S. It’s even possible to hold a wedding here, as the hotel has a wedding license and a 24-hour reception. So you can tell that the country house is quite modernized nowadays. When you look on the internet, you’ll probably find quite a few negative reviews. But from what we’ve experienced, the hotel is not what they said in these reviews. Or at least, not anymore.

Even the restaurant offers stunning views over the estate. You’ll have a good time dining there, as the meals are freshly prepared and made with love. There’s a wide choice of beverages and food. Of course, you’ll also get to choose from traditional dishes such as Yorkshire puddings and roast beef. The chefs are talented, have an eye for detail, and use the best possible local ingredients.
And did I mention yet that there are more restaurants? The Adamton Country House Hotel has a restaurant and lounge, but then there's also Jenny's restaurant. This one is located on the ground floor of the main house and offers Big Britannia Breakfast each morning. They can also make a full Scottish breakfast and other continental options. If you have dietary requirements, good to know is that there are also vegetarian options available.

As you probably read before, Adamton Country House Hotel has 259 en-suite bedrooms. This quite surprised me at first because it didn't look like it was that big from the outside. This is also because the hotel has multiple buildings ''connected'' to each other. You can see that they wanted to keep the historical touches from the 11th century. And even though they did this, the rooms don’t look outdated at all. In my opinion, the rooms are quite simple but lovely and offer you just everything you need to get a decent night's sleep whilst travelling or exploring the area.

- Smoking is prohibited (also in all public areas)
- Pets allowed (only in the annexe rooms, not in the main house bedrooms)
Single signature room

It's located in the main building, and also has the benefits of the facilities mentioned above. The room only costs about £49.00 per night. Double/twin room (signature/club)
You can tell that every hotel has its own character and style. This hotel uses two different styles for some of the hotel rooms: a so-called signature room, or a club room. The twin club room and the double club room are the most affordable rooms in the hotels.

Adamton Country House hotel can be just the hotel you need to use whilst travelling or whilst exploring the rest of the wonderful town of Prestwick. With special stay & flight packages, and an on-site car park, they made it very convenient for plane travellers. The rooms are nothing special, but you'll pay a fair price for what you'll get. All rooms have a TV, an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee-making facilities, and more. It's even affordable for families to stay here (for up to 3 people), and if you want as much space as possible, you can choose the suite room which has a spacious living area as well.
Besides, the staff, the atmosphere, and the restaurant won't let you down. The food is delicious and the lounge is a nice place to be and relax. The grounds surrounding the hotel look nice, and are fun to walk through.
